M Is For Mom, Mortgage and a voice that Matters!

I have the best job in the world, but I also have the hardest job there is. There is no such thing as a PHD in Babies, and there are no degrees in juggling house work, dirty diapers and a mortgage payment, but there is also nothing more rewarding than being a mom!

With the threat of a federal election right around the corner, there has never been a better time for me to start this blog.

I am a first time mom and a first time home owner, and like so many others I have a lot at stake in the upcoming election. This is the first time my vote is about more than personal preferences. This time it is also about my daughter's future and my family's security.

Over the next few weeks and months I am going to talk about the issues that make up the federal election campaign, and about the issues that matter most to young families. This is an opportunity for all of us first time parents, new home owners and voters to share our opinions on the future of this country.
